1. It's sustainable. If we devoted the huge resources needed to raise livestock to grow crops instead, we could feed the whole world.
2. Better for the environment. Ranching destroys land and livestock give off greenhouse gases
3. You end the suffering of animals in factory farms
4. It's healthier. Humans are not meant to consume meat in the first place. Basic anatomy proves this.
I was a vegan for many years and ate mostly soy products. Now I am a raw vegan, it is much harder. I suggest starting with a plain vegan diet.
