    Regarding oil, Mexico is interesting in this respect, as only this year did the Government finally give private investors the right to collaborate with PEMEX, the Mexican State oil company.

    I only voted for the military but everything else I think should be in the private sector but this should be unsurprising since I am a Libertarian.

    It doesn't matter to me so much who performs certain functions as long as government effectively guarantees the quality and reliability of them. I'm not against state ownership, but I'm also not against other forms of ownership. The only potential problem with outsourcing is dependence. A country needs to be able to perform the most important functions in order to keep its civilization safe.
