Best thing happened to me today? I got fined only 20 euros instead of normal 50euros. I was pretty calm and humble and admitted I was wrong, maybe that was the key factor for the police man.

Yep, I live in Slovakia. If you park like retard or on a places you are not allowed to you might get this, you have to call local police and after you pay the fine they unlock it, it costs mostly 50 euros. And there is even worse way of this, they even can tow your car to a local car cementary and you will have to pay 100 euros for the towing and 50euros to police for a fine.

Here you get a ticket. Now if you are blocking a driveway or fire hydrant you will get towed. I have 4-5 unpaid tickets lol.

Ticket is good way, I would like that too. But this is because they goverment wants the money imidiatelly and in Europe you have literally so many countries so they try to sort the shit out asap so you cant just run-away. I can get in 5 mins to Austria, 8mins to Hungary, 25 mins to Czech Republic, It is super easy to run away from responsibilities. Even if there will be war in the world I will just start to run to Austria border because they are neutral country and they can't get into a war

People should be allowed to park anywhere like in China. Just dump your car any old place. Parking tickets are a scam.

Best: I was overloaded with work during lunch time today, so my gf brought me surprise lunch at work.

Worst: I went jogging early in the morning and "tripped" on perfectly flat pavement, much to the amusement of the girl jogging behind me, I didn't fall but I looked like a right twat.

This is why I don't jog, TBH. I do walk every day, fast, but not jog. It's too embarrassing.
