The Best and the Worst today...

Best: Kitties got a clean bill of health at the vet. Then I took my kids to play with animals at the shelter.

Worst: A lot of those poor animals may never get adopted. There's a town hall meeting tonight to discuss making the shelter No-Kill. I think I may go to it...

Thanks, I've got another day of long walking ahead of me, but hopefully the ibuprofen gel and pills and special support socks will help.

Do you have to pay for plastic carrier bags in the US like we have to by law now in the UK, in order to reduce the amount of disposable plastic bag wastage each year? Did you use your own tote (shopping) bag or a personal shopping trolley?

I have some reusable grocery bags but I always leave them in my trunk and forget to use them. But, I keep and re-use, and/or recycle the plastic ones, always. We don't have to pay for plastic bags here but that is a good idea.

Glad to hear your feet are better. Mine are getting better too, may actually get to go for a short jog tomorrow.

Worst: Annoyed because I need to go run errands, but there are neighborhood kids in my house, and they won't leave, and it's raining so I can't make them leave.

They are also being really hyper and crazy.
