Yes today that's true, but today all Europeans have significant amount of basal Eurasian. I'd say in the baltic states is where you find the least amount of curly hair and they also have the lowest amount of basal Eurasian, but also very high ANE that might also be the reason. Fine and very straight hair and curly hair likely didn't exist among the cro-magnons. Modern Europeans are very different from the original ones. I'm talking 10k+ years ago.

Q isn't only Asian. There is a subclade that is Scandinavian although Balkanites mainly don't have this subclade but some do due to Varangians and they probably carried N as well although in small quantities
