Curly hair is either a genetic mutation or something that came from neolithic farmers. Either way it's found among all Europeans, especially those that cluster more west since all Europeans have basal Eurasian and those that don't have ANE or mong to balance it out, will have higher frequency of curly hair. Today hair is probably more a result of selection than admixture as you can see that most Sardinains do not have curly hair even if they score high in basal Eurasian like elements.
