yeah, i know the definition. But my critic was a bit more fundamental. For example its not necessary that all Alpinids are kind of connected- its more likely a divergent evolution, nothing else.
When you look at the examples Günther posted a "Faelid" there are examples which look like nowadays posterboy examples with very sharp features and other with more Alpinoid, more fuller types with rounder heads. Also if you look how Brunn is used on anthrofroum: some are close to Faelid, some to Borreby/ Alpine, some are more metrically Atlantid- so there is lack of systematic. But this is all of less importance- more interesting are the question what traits are really "Cm" aka WHG, what are Neolithic and what PIE for example. At the end of the day all Euros are Mutts of these elements to some degree.
