I'm personally for the abolition of the Asian part and definitely the Caucasus. I'm fed up with the Eurasian nonsense. Islam, Buddhism, Tengrianism and all that stuff are NOT my culture.
You want the independance of this region and russians of this territory come live in the new russian territory?

I think Russia should not give up too much territory. Only the troubled northeastern Caucasus area and I'd say sell Kaliningrad area to Germany or EU. The Baltic and Kaliningrad Russians and those from Moldova even could be ressettled in Russia, instead of taking many bad sorts of foreigners.

For Kaliningrad, it should be better to make an independant state as a new Prussia. Like this Russia can Keep link with the state and have an ally in the region.

What is the point of that? It would still be Russian. But then again, probably there are not enough of other Europeans to replace Russians there. What a stupid and evil thing Stalin did there too.

No! There is not even a basis for it. Not much of it's territory has non-Russian majority. Only a few border areas in the Caucasus and maybe near Central Asia too. Even Tatarstan or Bashkiria or Kalmukya should stay Russian. They have Russian populations too and I think even majority in the first.

Giving up Kaliningrad is a fantasy, not gonna happen.

Most of the russians in the areas are immigrants anyway .We know how the soviet union worked to control its territory they sent Russians .

They have no right to claim anything. like they did in Baltic states and Ukraine.

What russia has done to tartars is comparable to the genocide done to the jews.they deserve a state more than any other.

Stalin would agree to that ;p

Tatars and Mongols barely have a right to live west of Urals. No state for them.
