I just saw a youtube video, it says that it acts like a comet so it just randomly flies around space I guess. I wasnt taught that in school, I was taught the planets revolved around the sun but I guess times change.

Well, according to popular science, it follows the motion of our spiral galaxy known as the milky way, the planets follow the sun in a similar pattern:

I learned this in highschool the technical term for the earth's shape is oblate spheroid.

Toward the Andromeda galaxy. The encounter (there won't be any impact really) is scheduled in 4 Billions years. All the surroundings galaxies of the local group interact with each other, which on their own interact with other clusters, and web of clusters in the universe.
