My Sidearm of Choice - The CZ 75 P-07 Duty.

Took the plunge, passed the background checks, something as a foreign national is no mean feat let me tell you. Now that's over and done with I am now in the sidearm zone.

The pistol in question is the fabled CZ -75, this one is a P-07. It is, like the P-09 a polymer variant.

It's in 9mm the military caliber with a long pedigree of use having that sweet spot of balance between power and recoil.

With all the ramble and razmataz about Glocks this and 1911s that it's about time to show you the real deal, all the way from Europe where since 1997 CZ has been officially exporting their wares.

Imo the CZ is the match and possibly the superior choice over the Glock through it's sophistication, robust yet refined manufacturing techniques, and of course being one of the original Wonder Nines. The Glock has its place, but the CZ is right up there with it!

So far I'm happy with it. Compared to a full-steel frame there is still a bit of a snappy element to shooting it, but nothing that is concerning or troubling. At least on person claims it's *not* a CZ at all but a copy of the Glock. To which I answer the Glock must just be a copy of the HK VP 70 then. LOL.

I will be getting one more pistol before I complete the loadout with a battle-rifle then I can start concentrating on my mountain land...

Glocks, HK's, or Walthers over CZ anyday. If I lived in a free state those would be my choices especially the HK VP 9.

But I live in California, which is anti gun so I don't care to own one. (and ironically California is full of ruthless gangbangers: black, hispanic and southeast asian)
