Well, I don't know who sent it to you, but appearantly he doesn't know much about Dutch people. I could have laughed about such a list if it was based on truth and I would be able to recognize myself, or people I know in it. However, I can't. This list just seems to be bullshit, so I don't really think it's funny.

Indeed, some things are weird. "They suck at sport" --> It´s a small country but the football team is very good, also the handball, volleyball hockey grass teams, mainly the femenines. There are also famous dutch fighters in K1 like Semmy Schilt

"They never get anything right on the first" Strange too. They use to be smart and educated people, most of them go to the university and speak a very good english.

"They celebrate religious things by getting drunk" --> As in many other countries. In Christmats eve my grandpas, uncles... are always drunker than me by far. My grandma being the drunkest.

"They think going on Holiday means f***ing as many people as possible in a cheap motel in Spain" --> This is more a british thing

"They have no idea what a "shopping mall" is. They aren't any in Holland"
--> good for them, in other countries going to a mall is the way they spend most of the weekends. Very sad.

"Most of them stink like coffee and cigs" --> Again, I´ve no idea about this. I´ve met many dutch people and they dont smell like anything in particular.

"As soon as it's 15'C out side, they put on their sunglasses and wear shorts"
--> Like in the rest of northern countries. Why is it so strange? I´d do the same if our winters were that long, cold and dark .

"They act like they've never seen a naked woman before" --> I think it´s more like the opposite. Based on my experience with them, sex is something more normal and common for them than for us (southern euro countries in general). One night stands and so on aren´t uncommon at all in the Netherlands.

Maybe it's a wrong impression from the distance, but I would guess that Danishs, Dutchs, Germans are on the way of being mentally indistinguisable. Answering the question what I hate more on Dutchs are their Northern-European character...but I guess is this character which prevent them and the whole Nordics, of being constantly insulting, exploring, briving, abusing, stealing each others as is common behaviour of Southern Europe lowest classes (including of course new riches), usually after (except rutless criminals) several sessions of smiling, blinking, embracing, kissing, hand streching, promising, swearing and all type of mediterranic socializing gestures.

In my opinion, the dutch people are very easy going, friendly and nice compared with other northerns or even with the germans. I think the dutch are more mediterranean in character than the germans but more nordid looking

I never got that, either.

During the World Cup, it's easy to pick out the Dutch immigrants here because they're always wearing the orange jerseys.

Just for a note in Canadian history: During WWII a lot of Dutch fled to Eastern Canada, particularly this region where I live. A lot became farmers over here, but many of them did not reproduce enough to have sufficient heirs to their farms, so they are passing on their farms to younger relatives still in the Netherlands. Hence, there are still a lot of young Dutch immigrants here today.
