They do, but their not the same person of the Godhood. Each entity is rather a different element and hence not one, but they all combine into God also.

They are highly family oriented culture, this why. Also Mormons believe in strict gender role situation. Women are seen as nurturers and to ensure the survival of the faith, or reproduction. They also have good rules like forbidding Alcohol and Drugs, heck they don't even drink coffee, tea and coke/pepsi due to cafinee.

What alfieb said is basically their basic theology.

Mormonism started in America, so it is natural that it would have more followers there. Also it centres on Jesus Christ going to America and the Native Americans being a lost tribe of Israel, and says that the Garden of Eden was in Jackson County, Missouri
It is essentially a warped version of Christianity to cater to American ego, giving them a place in God's story.

Wow, way too extreme for me. Terrible people, these Mormons. I couldn't live without coffee.

Have you ever seen a movie called The Host? It was based on a book written by a Mormon author and addresses this belief in a sci-fi manner.

Mormons see birth control as sinful, and they are required to be fruitful.

Yeah, one man, three wives, or one man, teenage niece wife... or one man, seven sons, one wife... either way, Mormon girls are taught to become wives before they are taught to become women.

No, I haven't seen it. You mean this one: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1517260/ ?

I wonder why they would believe in such a thing seems pretty illogical, I guess they wanted the cult to have high birthrates in order to spread so they made up the thing about pre-existing souls.

Alfieb forgot the magic glasses used to remotely view the golden tablets, and the magic underwear and that they will get their own planet to repopulate after they die. Also mormons tithe unless they have at least six kids. So they all tend to have 6 kids. They also have to go a mission once in their lifetime. They are not supposed to have any drugs or alchohol including caffeine. They are usually super-white in the US, and they mainly find wives on their missions and try to get blonde girls. They have grown from 5000 when they moved to Utah to about 250 million including converts. They have a big book of answers that covers any question anyone might ask. People are not allowed in their tabernacles unless they are of the faith.

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
