What is your biggest fear in life?

I thought this was a good question to ask here, because many members here are mentally unstable so this should be interesting.

My biggest fear in life is achieving mediocre results.

I think I don't fear death so much as the pain part. At my age you think about death a bit more and it could be right round the corner, I just hope it's quick and painless.

I definitely would not want a slow and painful death. But sometimes death feels like a welcome respite from the pressures and complications of life.

I'm generally not a fearful person but I agree with ninjerpander about a slow and painful death probably being the most menacing.
