Favorite and least favorite historical figure from your country?

For Portugal my favourite would be one of the kings we had during our golden age. I liked his decisions.

Least Favourite: Pedro I,betrayed his father,the portuguese empire and indebted my country due to being a spoiled boy

Least Favorite: Floriano Peixoto (He murdered a lot of people in my city that opposed him)

Favorite: would pick Skanderbeg but since he is overkill and on a whole other level I will pick Fan Noli instead.



Least favorite: Esat Pashe Toptani, traitor to the core.

Well it is a difficult question. I would pick Socrates but if you require something more recent I would probably go for Ioannis Metaxas but he was in power for a mere 4 years, so I will add him beside George I. By far the best of the Kings of Modern Greece, during his reign that lasted 50 years, Greece more than doubled in size and was rapidly modernized into a considerable power in Southern Europe

So I will pick two for favorite
