I hate him because of hrvatsko cvijeće and Pavelic too.

It was different historical moment.

I think Tuđman was great admirer of Stercevic ideas and belived pravastvo (in symbolic sense)is only real way despite he founded HDZ (he is also one of my favorites).
He never married, lived in modesty and remained in fanatic devotion to Croatia to the very end. That why so many Zagrebians attended his funeral.

I don't like Great Croatia ideas but man himself stated it was only defense against Great Serb ideas-because he belived best defense is counterattack.

Also I think if he lived long enough he would never approve of Pavelic.
