Why Do Muslims Have To Resort To Violence So Much?

I've written extensively about the seemingly daily Jihadi attacks against civilians, that are now so commonplace we've almost grown accustomed to them, and also about the theological justification and encouragement of them found in Islamic scripture. The greater question though is, "why do Muslims resort to violence so often?"

In the world at large there is a world war between Muslim literalists and everybody else but there is also a civil war between Muslim literalists/fundamentalists and Muslim modernists and reformers within the Muslim world.

The modern Western world can be seen as ultimately one where rational thought has triumphed over religious dogma, which is so often dominated by what the religious may label "faith" and sceptics may label "superstition". Islam is, objectively, one of the more fanciful and ridiculous belief systems. So in the marketplace of ideas Islam is losing a war for the hearts and more importantly minds of the Islamic masses as they inevitably become more Westernised. The Islamic counterweight to this is what is labelled "Islamism" or "Islamic fundamentalism." It is a desperate attempt to bully and pressure Muslims, under duress, back to traditional Islam. How do we know they are losing this battle? Simple, because their arguments are not good enough to win the debate without resorting to violence. Literal interpretations of Islam have run their course. They are no match for modern ideas. Islam is a primitive belief-system struggling to cope in the Western age. In the words of Isaac Asimov;

Because they still can do so. Have not been as controlled and annexed to the global Republic system as much as other demographics have in comparison.

I think such ideas are authoritharian, a kind of left-wing fascist even! (stalinism,perhaps) Why should
Islam submit to the west? Each group has freedom, each Nation do may as it pleases. Also, implyng muslims are westernized is insulting! Comparing them to the progressive,degenerate west will only fuel more hatred and violence. No sane man will think the west,where drugs are consumed,women are treated like objects, and mere money is held as relevant,is any good.

They have primitive IQ, and have no reasoning at all, and they are easily brainwashed and manipulated. Also Islam preaches violence. So, it is an explosive combination, is like giving a gun to a monkey.
