Pare is Turkish borrowed word yes. My ancestors use 3 words for pare (money): nuvci, šoldi and penezi. Only nuvci is our original word, šoldi is borrowed from Italian and penezi is borrowed from German. Nuvci are novci, but with transformed O in U ("ukanje"). "Ukanje" was one of the unique element n speech of my ancestors, which disappeared among generations born after WW2.
