also, nothing against slavs as I'm slavic myself, but we must clearly say, that slavs were very very primitive. they werel ucky they lived in corners of europe, where there land has been very isolated or they would have got killed very fast by more advanced civilization with better weapons. they were always under control of other, more advanced civilizations, for example the scandinavians in russian case, or the iranic/turkic bulgars in bulgarian case, or the jugo people, who were always under control of the hungarians, or germans later, then turks;
