Neither of these was a black (Negroid) culture. Yes, the Indians, Egyptians, Mayans, and Olmecs were all high cultures, I never said they weren't. But no, they were not more advanced in most ways than the Greeks, and Romans. The Egyptians were admired by the Ancient Greeks, but the Greeks criticized them for being a very static society, with no real innovations for thousands of years. Old Indian Civilization was a higher culture than Egypt in my opinion, and contributed a lot in many areas, particularly in Philosophy/Religion. They neglected science though, and were punished for this at Plassey when the superior cannon of the of the British slaughtered them. The achievements of the Mayans, and Olmecs are impressive in their own right, but don't come near to those of India, or Egypt, let alone Greece, or Rome.
