Religous symbols are often completely banned from private schools here in the US, so there couldnt be accomidation for Muslim students. I prefer the free public school system of dress code.

My school didn't have a uniform but a strict dress code. I always wished we could just have uniforms so it would be easier to stay within the codes. You're there to learn anyways, it's not a fashion show.

I think a uniform is much better than a dress code. Dress codes can lead to bias among those who enforce it.

A uniform is a simple way to make everything much much easier.

Instead of having a list of rules about dress code, the only rule is to wear the uniform in full. Simple.

School uniforms encourage a more disciplinary kind of system, which IMO is a good thing.

Better overall. Prevents some cliqueness based on what brands a kid's family can afford, at least during the school day. Also makes it harder for students to stand out in terms of dress code.
