Pig's milk?

I'm increasingly wondering where I could get pig's milk and why I never find any products made of pig's milk, like cheese or yoghurt? We have cow milk, sheep milk, goat milk and even reindeer milk purchasable in exotic shops. I've tried all kinds of milk and find all sorts rather distasteful, with the exception of cow milk, of course. Like people like Karl I love milk and pigs are a part of our European culture for millenias, similar to cows. Is there any reason why there's no milk of pigs? I've read they can give up to 10 liter a day, that's more than goats can give.

Pardon if my question sounds a bit strange but I can't find any satisfying answer. The people around me don't know anything about it and so do I.

Porcine do lactate and their milk I will assume would taste great, because it is made of 8.5% fat in relation to the fat that makes up 3.5% of the components in cows milk.

8,5% fat isn't that high if you only want to drink a single cup. But the post contains some new informations to me, that's a clear help! The source states that the collection of the milk would be the main problem, so I'd imagine it's more a matter of price and demand and not of incompatibility? If I ever meet a farmer in the animal husbandry industry I'll ask him if I could try and taste it. I'm really curious about it, you could call it my foible.

Yes... Pigs, like humans, only produce milk during lactation. That is.

Same reason there is no dog's milk, for example. These mammals just aren't capable of producing too much milk.
BTW, drinking milk from other species is not quite normal behavior. Maybe we developed that during severe conditions for survival and only some tribes (those who are lactose tolerant now). The only natural milk for us is human milk during first years of our life. So, all we - milk lovers (milk is among my favorite foods, that's why I'm not Vegan) are quite unnatural in behavior, even our genes for lactose tolerance after childhood are something odd.

I think that vegetarian animals' milk is more palatable than say, rat or cat milk.

Buffalo milk is pretty much standard in India and mixed with cow milk and the high fat content is delicious.
