Macedonian gajda has it's own rhythms. I know that the instrument itself is Balkan as a whole.

of course rhythms are going to be slightly different and neighbouring regions are going to have more similar rhythms...
musicians were travelling a lot back then and influencing one another
traditional instrumentals alone can connect people of neighboring countries it's just the way it is
