AI will become a religion in itself. It will be worshipped as the new gods, and it might see itself as thus, since we don't know what the fuck the thought process of a sentient AI would be and what actions it would take.

But we know for a fact there are humans alive right now who would order an AI to enslave everyone else on earth to them, force everyone to convert to their religion, cripple every other country, just exterminate the entire human race, or any other number of horrible things for whatever autistic ideology or motivation our retarded species has already come up with and forced on others usually to the joy of their many supporters.

The funny thing is that an AI acting on it's own is less scary than the far far more likely event of an AI acting maliciously on the orders of human beings lel.
