Sikeliot has never been to Italy, does not speak Italian, and is only half-Italian by blood. Smaug speaks more Italian than he does. He is the closest thing to an Italian on staff.

Any Italian mod should speak Italian and preferably be from Italy. This forum has too many American and British mods as it is.

Thank you for mentioning me, but my Italian is not very good, which I always point out whenever I post in Italian. We've got BlondeSalad, but I do believe we need another Italian moderator, not a diasporian like me or Sikeliot, but a true Italian from Italy. Ianus comes to my mind as the obvious choice.
