Got my Y-DNA results today!

Looks like I'm of the J-M410 clan. Here is the migration path for my subclade which ends in Sardinia.



One thing that I found interesting was this little passage from a study:

"Geneticists have scanned the genomes of 173 Armenians from Armenia and Lebanon and compared them with those of 78 other populations from around the world. They found that the Armenians are a mix of ancient populations whose descendants now live in Sardinia, Central Asia and several other regions. This formative mixture occurred from 3000 to 2000 B.C., the geneticists calculated, coincident with Movses Khorenatsi's date for the founding of Armenia."

I'm guessing that means that from between 1400BC and now that my male line traveled from Sardinia back to Asia Minor.

This sounds so vague honestly .. Is there any source for this study? J-M410 was born in the Northern Fertile crescent and it would make sense that the Armenian J2 came from there. Same goes for G2a and J1..
