Default Is Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysilio gogogoch the world's longest single word?

Is this the longest single word domain name in the world?

Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwll-llantysiliogogogoch (or Llanfairpwll, or Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, or Llanfair PG, or just Llanfair as it is known by the locals) is on the Isle of Anglesey (Ynys Môn) in Wales (Cymru).

The town has become famous because of its very long name. It has the longest railway station name in the United Kingdom, and now the longest single word domain name in the world.

Drop into the tourist information office in Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwll-llantysiliogogogoch, ask the staff nicely, and they will happily pronounce the name of the town for you. They get asked to do this many times a day, every day, so remember to be polite.

How...how does one even say that? Just looking at that word is making me have a stroke.

A friend of mine speaks Welsh so of course I had him pronounce that for me.

It is a bit of a made up name though.

It is, quite. Just to attract tourists. However is does have a meaning, it's not a made up word. Actually iťs a hole sentence. "Llan" for example means "church". The town in South Wales where my family is from is called "Llandeilo" for example. It's a very common prefix in Wales.

I'm not, but because of the effort that you must have put into that, I'll go look for it later anyway.
