PROPERTY, pensions and possessions mean the average Briton is worth £185,000, according to official data.
That is £30,000 less than before the recession, when the typical adult had £215,000 of wealth.
The credit-crunch, rising unemployment, falling investments and property prices mean the richest 10 per cent are now worth around £815,900 each – down from £1m.
