    Default Hugh Jackman just can't stop lifting.

    Got the article from the latest Muscle and Fitness magazine.This is about the 5th time I see him on the cover or in an article of the magazine.This guy is a win machine.

    "Until another Oscar winner can do a couple of reps with 180kg maybe the achievements of Hugh Jackman would not seem so impressive.Until then he will remain the toughest Hollywood star"

    There are little celebrities out there that have the qualities and talent of Hugh Jackman.People of all different generations find him to be a good actor for various reasons.In the last 10 years the preparations for the role in The Wolverine had a side effect on Jackman.Now he is an regular visitor of the gym and is so addicted to the weights and iron,as every regular reader of Muscle and Fitness magazine.In a video the actor posted on last year on November showed the Jackman doing reps with 180 kilograms,screaming to his training partners not to touch the bar.

    Jackman's coach David Kingsbury comments:
    "Despire that he HAS done deadlifts before,like many other celebrities,he was never a regular.Now we focused on deadlifting as a main exercise in his training routine.Every week we progressively add up weight to increase his strenght.The domino effect was huge and it helped improve the quality of his other exercises as well.

    Most people think he is training hard for a role,but that`s not true.Jackman trains like this all year round.Secondly,he is not afraid of heavy workouts,be it a 4 hour morning workout or preparing for a filming day.Third,he has strong mentality and concentration,and we all know how important that is when it comes to heavy weight training."

    I do like Hugh Jackman as an actor, great guy. The level of body development he reached in the latest X-Men was extremely impressive, especially considering his height and how he looked in the first X-Men.

    But I would have thought that he would deadlift more than 180 kg, if that is his max that is. Maybe he does multiple reps with that weight, that would be more impressive. But I might be biased since deadlift was my forte, I am 1.82m and I could deadlift 100 kg when I first started @70 kg bodyweight. After about a year later and 15 kg heavier I could lift 150 kg for two reps per set.

    Thats actually the reason Hugh never went over 180kg.

    Guess its well solidified to say that deadlifting up to 200kg of weight can improve your strength and muscle vectors,bone density.Anything beyond that is working against you.
