I do think Western and Eastern Armenians look different, but I think it's more due to different styles and Soviet influence in the latter. Western Armenians at least tend to look SUPER Levantine, to the point the Armenians in Lebanon are not even seen as a different ethnicity, just a different religious sect.
They're just regional variations among us. Remember, that Armenia used to be larger than it is now and Armenians have historically lived in what was historic Armenia along with areas of the Levant and the Cilicia kingdom as well. A western Armenian resembles other Armenians first and foremost but many can obviously fit in the Levant and represent Druze people oddly enough and can even look Southern European as well. Equally East Med and Caucasian looking imo.

Eastern Armenians tend to be more robust looking and are clearly more Caucasus like people. You will find that out if you ever visit

I basically agree. It's surely influenced by regional origins, from an area that was historically very much larger than what we see today. In my opinion, the Western Armenians tilt towards Southern Europe, while the Eastern Armenians tilt towards the People of the Caucasus. I'd add that elements of the Worldwide Armenian Diaspora can be influenced by their adopted homelands too.
