    Default Norwegian BGA

This is the results from 5 Norwegians(myself included) who have sent their 23andMe raw data to McDonald for analysis

    Italians for comparison

*I have highlighted the mideastern score, also notice the difference in the Amerindian score, the Italians have negative scores while the Norwegians have positive scores, higher affinity with Amerindians and lower mideast scores is also common for other Northern Europeans aswell.

Well, this might rather show that these tests are not perfect yet, considering the "American" DNA, probably rather Palaeolithic, unless this is an unknown descendent of Pocahontas

In the regards to Northern Europeans it's more likely Palaeolithic or Uralic affinty and not real Amerindian.

    My BGA:

    Europe 98.1%
    Oceania -0.4%
    America 1.1%
    Africa -0.1%
    E. Asia 1.3%

    Europe 93.7%
    S. Asia 6.6%
    Oceania -0.7%
    America 0.8%
    Africa -0.4%
    E. Asia 0.1%

    Europe 94.4%
    Mideast -1.0%
    S. Asia 6.7%
    Oceania -0.7%
    America 0.8%
    Africa -0.2%
    E. Asia 0.1%

These are indicative of all-Euro ancestry. As explained above, the S. Asian numbers refer to long-ago mixing, not anything recent. The negative Mideast number is significant: it seems to be indicative of people living near the shores of the Baltic.
