Those are the places where the gypsies live normal way of life I have many friends with families from the Northeast and they say that the situation there is awful even in towns, especially Silistra, Shumen and also most of the villages of Dobrogea. I see with my own eyes the situation in Southeastern Bulgaria where it is suposed to be better and still only Burgas and some villages around are the places where only Bulgarians live...towns like Tsarevo and Primorsko are 50/50. I have been in a village with 3000 peoople where all teenage Bulgarians could sit on 1 bench.

It's not like this in villages near Kazanlak. Sure there are many gypsies but they aren't majority. My village near Pazardzhik is still with Bulgarian majority too though the number of gypsies in some villages around it is maybe already higher than the number of Bulgarians. Big villages around Plovdiv are mostly Bulgarian too. In villages in SW Bulgaria gypsies are surely a minority.

Generally Bulgarians are more in the villages in richer and more developed regions. Gypsies are more in the villages in places abandoned by God and everything.

Kazanlak is full of gypsies but they live only in the mahala. Outside it gypsies are not more than 1%. If somebody drops a bomb over it the gypsy population would shrink a lot
