Miskolc city

I wanted to create separate thread but as there is already one, so I will just bump this one and add something what I found in Internet

Miskolc is generally city in NE Hungary, one of the biggest in the country, close to beautiful nature and Tokaj wine region. Idustry connected with manufacturing iron and some chemicals used to be a big deal, but other sectors are more important to city's economy now

The historical part of city is located around Avas hill(just personally I think it looks like other Central European cities)



You can find for examle quite old gothic church



and one of the most characteristic buildings in the city - the lookout tower...



with view for all city




In the town there is also

- caves with thermal pools called Miskolctapolca



- Diósgyőr castle



- Lillafüred - basically the green mountainous area within the city area with nice looking Hotel Palace



even there is a forest tram nearby



- wine cellars(as I mentioned before, the city is located close to Tokaj wine region) for example Görömböly Wine Cellars
