Yes and if we use that we might as well say angles, Saxons and Vikings were bell beakers.
I laugh at the notion of stone age identity being seen as important. I have never taken interest in pre civilization Europe or the world for that matter. Seems so trivial and unimportant.
I tend to accept that the British Islands is Celto-Germanic. The Bell beakers did not create a civilization or leave us with any sort of culture of any significance. Its sort of the ancestry white people should not take much pride in.

I guess it depends who you ask from. But I think it's the combination of all those different influences what makes the modern day English who they are.

They should be able to make a book and TV documentary out of all the PotBI stuff.

That would be nice. I cannot wait until they come out with the studies on the Irish. I wish to see to what extent the Normans had there. Even if its like 2% input or less. I don't really care. I have been trying to follow people with the same surname as my own who took genetic tests. Many come back as largely or exclusively just Irish [or pre Norman invasion population]. But some do trace ancestry to Brittany France. The Powers were not actual Normans from Normandy however it is possible some could have been Flemish mercenaries which to me this would show up on a genetic test. Unless the Irish and Flemish are too close to be indistinguishable.
However most people with my surname don't differ much from other Irish people. I thought at least I would be descendant from some bastard offspring from the actual head of the family or something. Back then Knights were pimps and had many concubines so you think we all have a bit of aristocratic ancestry somewhere.
