Do you believe your country should change its capital city?

Would you prefer another city to be your country's capital? If so, say which city should replace the current capital. For example, I would prefer it if Veliko Turnovo was the capital of Bulgaria instead of the current capital, Sofia. Discuss.

Not really. I'm fine with the capital being Washington D.C./District of Colombia. There's too much history there to change it now anyway IMO. I'm not sure what other city you could propose to be the capital of the U.S. New York and L.A. seem too hectic for that.

Australia's capital may as well have been Melbourne, where the parliament originally sat. I think it was silly creating a new city (Canberra) as the capital. On the other hand, it's a haven of useless bureaucrats and politicians, which helps keep them away from me.

Yes. Change the capital of Albania from Tirana, to Korca or shkoder. The capital of Kosova should be changed from Prishtina to Peja.

For Italy and for Sicily, moving the capitals would make no sense. Palermo is by far the largest city in Sicily and Rome is located conveniently in the middle of Italy.

I think the capital of Kosovo should be Prizren, it is one of the most important cities for Albanian nationalism and the revolts against the Ottoman Empire. For Albania, it should be Kruje (where Skanderbeg slaughtered the Ottoman army), not too far from the present capital city of Tirana.
