Pigs are too sentient and too tasty for their own good.
As true omnivores, they will eat faeces and their own dead offspring if they have to. I do not eat meat, but if I had to, I would not favour pork.
Many pigs are factory-farmed in conditions that would disgust most people, not especially if they knew how intelligent pigs really are.

Thats true. Here local farmers do not keep animals in cages and feed them healthy food as oppose to the shit factory farms produce.
They call it 'free roam' meat or something which means the animals are not caged or mistreated. They are also fed much better food without preservatives. Basically the way it use to be done.
