Jews are over-represented as left-wing intellectuals (just see Noam Chomsky), so of course there will be a lot of Jews pushing for multiculturalism. Possibly this is because of the trauma of the Holocaust - who knows? Regardless, it is not 'the Jews' behind multiculturalism, but merely "Jews" as individuals.

Moreover, Jews, excluding religious fanatics, assimilate deeply into the parent society, and accept all their cultures. I am Jewish, Longbowman is part Jewish, and we both pride ourselves in saying we are British, and both pride ourselves in British culture. Even if we were to see, for example, Polish culture as superior (to ours, that is), we would still adhere to British culture, due to our loyalty. There is no such thing as the 'International Jew', as popularised by Hitler and Ford.

Agreed, although I wouldn't like to, just as an exaggerated example, see a country dominated by East Asians (in terms of population), even if they fully adopted the parent culture. And also, harmony isn't the problem - it's the fact that the culture of the country is being changed drastically, whereas it should only change slowly and the template for the culture should remain.

You would hate it if you saw a culture that wasn't based on multiculturalism being greatly altered.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you seem to be insinuating that Europe's various cultural traditions will just vanish completely. As long as Europeans and their countries exist, I seriously doubt that will ever happen.

Multiculturalism is actually needed in countries with many ethnic groups to begin with. That is not the case in western Europe where it is a plague

In order to think clearly one has to come up with a definition of multiculturalism, especially since the concept is rather new. People with different cultural backgrounds have coexisted in history, but multiculturalism is something new and different. And so, how should we define it?

In my opinion, multiculturalism is an ideology imposing itself on national culture and traditional heritage, in the process replacing them with foreign culture.

What we can do about it is to realize that national culture cannot be neutral. Multiculturalism carries the illusion of neutrality, but it is in effect a lot less fair than the alternative. It's tyranny, and what integration means is a smoothing out of differences, where someone always has to pay with a part of his culture. In the end, national culture is sacrificed for novel culture. That is especially true as soon as mass immigration is allowed.

Like some others, I oppose multiculturalism and integration. Assimilation is the sound idea for coexistence. Assimilation doesn't mean that a person has to leave his culture behind to adapt. He can keep his cultural background while adapting and assimilating to the host culture. Assimilation is what works best, and it is also the most human-friendly approach to cultural differences in a country.

What does it matter? As long as they identify as one of you and adopt their culture from you, then they are still heirs to your country's legacy. Ethnogenesis is changing constantly, every ethnicity on this planet is a result of mixing, at a certain point, our own descendants will have very little of our blood flowing through their veins, all that really matters at that point is whether or not they carry on our legacies, not our bloodlines. As history has proven, purity is unachievable, and the best we can hope for is for our descendants to carry on our legacies.

Who's to say what's the perfect pace for a culture to change? But in general, I do believe that the cultural template should remain, so I agree.

Its not the case anywhere in europe, except for the former USSR states, today it has become more clear than ever, that forced multiculturalism/multiracialism is a tool for the racial and cultural anihilation of the nation in which it is practiced.
