how longer cM, so much ancient
Thank you, Gultekin. I suppose we can safely say that at least I have some ancient Western and Central European origins.. when I up the count from 300 to 500, I lose Northern Europe, but gain Eastern Europe. The readings are rather confusing and I feel a little indignant that I seem to have no ancient British origins ( via Hinxton) at all. Of course, if the original Anglo- Saxons came from the Low Countries and I match with Loschbour of Luxembourg, it might lend weight to my theory that the Gooding family was originally of the same stock as the Old English, the Angelcynn, if not the ancient English.

I don't think you can really read anything about ethnic nationality, a today's equivalent, in theses results. If you have some match with Motala or Gokhem2 for example, that was a kinda swarthy neolithic gal, closer to a very southern Euro or even maybe North African mixed, than anything Scandinavian. It's just ancient matches, it's cool in an ethnogenesis perspective but nothing more.

That's very true. The 300 match was with Motala, as a matter of fact. NE1 and BR2 are the Hungarian matches I got when I upped it to 500.

    http://eurogenes.blogspot.fr/2014/12...ay-swedes.html

however it gives some clue where the mutation appeared (Doggerland in my case)

I suppose I must be most closely related to LBK, Stuttgart, at 5.4 cM.
