My answer will not be well-liked but I am going to give it.

Atlanto-Med is a long-headed Med type, the western equivalent of Pontid. It is most common in Iberia, France, North Italy and to a lesser extent the rest of Italy and Greece. Also has some traces in the British Isles.

Gracile Med is the "pure" Med type, and Arabid is a variation of it adapted to hot climates. Mixing Gracile Med with East Nordid gives you Pontid, with Atlantid gives you Atlanto-Med. Gracile Med is most common in southern Iberia, southern Italy, and the Aegean islands (Crete, Rhodes, Cyclades etc) while Pontid dominates in mainland Greece and the Balkans, mixed with other types.

I still dont get what is the gracil type. What do you mean by "pure" Med type,", could you describe gracil-meds?

Gracile Med is the "pure" Med, Atlanto-Med is mixed with northern elements.

Sardinians should be the purest Mediterraneans. IMO whatever the most dominant type is among them it should be taken as the standard for what is pure Mediterranid or not.

I might post pics of my grandfather and my mother. Both are textbook gracile mediterranids IMO. They both look like typical Spaniards and Portuguese. Those Mediterranid genes are strong, even though my grandmother is a textbook Nordid my mother and uncle have basically zero northern influence in their phenotypes.

Gracile meds are like Atlanto-meds with a thinner osseous structure. They don't have bigger eyes, big eyes is an east med feature.

Atlanto-Med is a lot different due to Nordid influence inside of Atlanto-Med phenotype.

Atlanto-Med is much more robust than Gracile Med, Atlanto-Med has long head-skull (Nordid influence), also it doesn't have large lips and eye-brows like Gracil Med.

Atlanto-Med has lighter skin-tone than Gracile-Med.

And in the end; Atlanto-Med is most common in Iberia, France, Italy (North and Central), somewhat in Britain, and some in Croatia as the most eastern border in Europe where that phenotype can be found.

Pontid: 40% of Nordid (his Nordid branch), 60% Gracile Med.
Atlantid: 50% Nordid (his Nordid branch), 50% Gracile Med.
Atlanto-Med: 60% Gracile Med, 40% Nordid
Eastern Med: 90% Gracile Med, 10% Nordid
Nord Pontid: 70% Nordid (his own branch), 30% Gracile Med.
Nord Atlantid: 70% Nordid (his own branch), 30% Gracile Med


All three western phenotypes; Atlantid, Atlanto-Med and Nord Atlantid will always have sharper facial features than Nord Pontid or Pontid.

Eastern Med is really close to pure Gracile Med, with exception of skull shape in Eastern Med, that's why in my opinion it's phenotype for itself, everything else is Gracile Med in Eastern Med.
