"The Thing" prequel in 2011

The Thing is the best movie ever. My last year of college I watched it a total of 33 times all of which I had the same combo and drink from my then favored fast-food place. They better be able to capture the flawless, raw gore and crude materials that made The Thing what it was......it better not be some travesty like the latest Indiana Jones or that piece-of-shit transformers crap.

Yeah I know the greatness of the legit old-school transformers, but the modern movies are a travesty of over-drama hype and emotion that ruins what it all should have been.
