The scientific bias in modern physics is present although not when it comes to the big bang. The existance of big bang doesn't exclude the existance of a 'master creator' (God if you wish), but the data we have acquired combined with other theories experimentally and theoretically (theory of relativity) proven gives us solid evidence that the big bang occured many years ago. Following the same line of scepticism you may think electromagnetism isn't real since relativity is tightly connected to it.
