Dog meat is apparantly neither very healthy nor tasty compared to other meat from what I've heard.

Eating an animal that has evolved side by side, in symbiosis with humans just feels like treachery to me. Eating animals who have been domesticated in large with the purpose of being eaten is more honest.

No i wouldn't, dogs are too cute and dog meat isn't good for humans anyway and i'm pretty sure it doesn't even taste good, but i'm not judging because the meat we eat here in West the animals are not living in good conditions at all, so it's hypocritical to be stuffing your face with some chicken who lived all it's life on some small cage in darkness and say "goddamn barbarians!" to other countries food habits.

No, I don't eat dog meat, nor would I ever eat it in normal circumstances. Just like I would never eat horse meat

Nevertheless, I don't find it scandalizing. In some countries it's a cultural/traditional thing and for them it's normal. People who eat beef or pork are no better than people who grew up somewhere where eating dog meat is normal.

I don't think eating dog is less moral than eating other mammals, but I wouldn't consider it under normal circumstances. My diet consists of a minimal amount of red meat, on average twice or thrice a month, and more poultry and fish.
