American Sniper is the best movie of 2014. Bradley Cooper is beyond excellent as American War Hero Chris Kyle. I believe it is the defining movie of his career. It is also on par with any of Clint Eastwood's typically excellent previous work.



More than a movie, it is a lesson to the Hollywood elite, that patriotism is alive and well. American Sniper does away with the post-Vietnam culturally relativist formula of the evil white man oppressing the enlightened indigenous peoples. It is a movie unafraid to label savages savage and to even remind us we don't want these barbarians living amongst us in the West. Something daily Jihadi arrests in the West further demonstrate.

A thrilling story of one man's call to duty and personal unease with hero-status. It is also movie about the breakdown of community due to cultural realtivism and multiculturalism, with returned soldiers receiving little support from their communities. This is a must watch movie for any American patriot, indeed, any Western patriot.
