I see, but i wouldnt say its the first patriot american movie, americans have lots of patriot movies and always the americans are the good guys and beat the shit out of iraquis soviets or whoever and i think iraquis were injust attacked, i dont think saddam is innocent either as he was a dictator but at least he kept a stabile country unlike now where they kill eatch other

I come from a town where everyone's rich, but votes democrat. They're just a bunch of hippies who feel guilty for their wealth. hollywood's the same shit. I actually don't mind leftist politics from working class people etc. And as selfish as right wing politics may seem from wealthy people, at least its honest. Rich people who vote for leftist parties and hold leftist sympathies are the biggest frauds.

I liked the movie, very good acting with good story movement. Now as a Navy Vet myself I will say this. War is a ugly business it always is and will be. Don't place blame on the soldiers fighting or doing what needs to be done.

This movie is way, way overrated. Actually a lame movie.. has no good story line or moving in anyway. The way he meets his wife in some bar, the way he dies by a retard sicko, and how the whole story tries to evoke certain emotions, it fails miserably. War movies should be made by Mel Gibson. That's it.
The only good part of the movie was when he kills the other sniper guy.. That is it.
