How does one interpret 'Southeast Asian', 'Northeast Asian', and 'Siberian' on the various gedmatch calculators? One one calculator I score 59.41% SE-Asian & 30.41% NE-Asian, with 0 Siberian. On another calculator I score 78.49 SE-Asian & 8.78% NE-Asian. And still on another calculator I score 81.20% SE-Asian & 6.96% East-Siberian. Each calculator seems to give conflicting results with each component meaning different things. On 23andme I'm only 4-10% Chinese, and predominantly Southeast Asian. My dad gets 0% Chinese on 23andme but still scores lots of NE-Asian on some gedmatch calculators. So I'm thinking these components must be so ancient like thousands of years ago when East Asian groups couldn't be told apart, hence a score of 30.41% Northeast Asian for a Filipino lol. I know gedmatch projects are for hardcore DNA geeks, but no one even bothered to explain any of these genetic categories - 'Baltic', 'SE-Asian', 'NE-Asian', etc...
