Pretty much the same numbers huh. You must be a exception, I tend to find Dominicans to be black composed of 40-70 of SSA.
From my understanding, Dominicans that are 60+ euro are usually Iberian/middle eastern(lebanese & syrian).. such examples would be the elite dominican and former prez candidate Abinader.

yes your right, majority of dominicans are more SSA dominant
and yes it seems that east med people (we call em turcos) that come to the new world know how to make money and do businesses similar to jews, as is the case with sosua (a small town that was heavily settled by jewish ppl during the 1930s with permission from trujillo who brought em over to have em avoid the halocaust)

I like this studies with many countries because they show that while every latin american has a certain mixture, the proportions are PRETTY different.
My thread has very similar results

Very good study comparing 2 colombian regions. Choco and Medellin. Choco is very african and Medellin very european

It seems Choco used to be mestizo but then african slaves changed the genepool
They estimate medellin to be even more euro in the past

We examined the relationship between continental-level genetic ancestry and racial and ethnic identity in an admixed population in New Mexico with the goal of increasing our understanding of how racial and ethnic identity influence genetic substructure in admixed populations. Our sample consists of 98 New Mexicans who self-identified as Hispanic or Latino (NM-HL) and who further categorized themselves by race and ethnic subgroup membership. The genetic data consist of 270 newly-published autosomal microsatellites from the NM-HL sample and previously published data from 57 globally distributed populations, including 13 admixed samples from Central and South America.

Demographic characteristics, average lipid concentrations (HDL-C, LDL-C, TC, and TG) and average admixture proportions of the two samples, comprising 1310 and 1787 individuals from Mexico City, are displayed in Table 1.
Sample 1 64.86% Native American 31.90% European and 3.24% African
Sample 2 62.33% Natvive American 35.25% European and 2.42% African

"Analysis of admixture proportions in seven geographical regions of the state of Guerrero, Mexico"
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/1...ajhb.23032/pdf
Methods: A total of 104 ancestry informative markers were analyzed in 480 unrelated
women from the seven regions of the state of Guerrero. The individual ancestry
proportions were estimated using the software ADMIXMAP v3.2.
Results: The relative Native American, European and African ancestral contributions
to the whole sample were estimated to be 69%, 27%, and 1.9%, respectively. We
observed significant differences in admixture proportions across the regions. The
highest average Native American ancestry was found in the Monta~na region and the
lowest in Costa Grande. Conversely, the highest European contribution was observed
in Costa Grande. The highest African contributions were observed in the regions of
Costa Chica and Costa Grande.
