Admixture estimates (Fig. 1) revealed that the main genetic components in the state of Chihuahua are European (52.12 ± 0.88%, ranging from 37.51% in Ciudad Juárez to 59.24% in the rural areas) and Native American (39.51 ± 2.17%, ranging from 33.40% in the rural areas to 52.02% in Ciudad Juárez), while African genetic component was less apparent (8.36 ± 1.47%, going from 7.36% in the rural areas to 10.48% in Ciudad Juárez). The European component follows the exact opposite pattern: while maternal mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) component is estimated at 7% [11], paternal European contribution is estimated at 60% [12], with autosomal markers estimating European contribution to be 65.6% [13]. ...

why? because most of the locations where they took the samples are little populated towns that do not exceed 5000 inhabitants.

De acuerdo a todos los estudios genéticos oficiales publicados hasta la fecha que se han hecho en la region.

Este mapa resumiria muy bien lo que es el aporte europeo por dividido por subregiones.

Ya que se trata de un departamento 4/3 el tamaño de republica dominicana,al igual que esta,
tambien presenta variaciones dependiendo de donde los encontremos.



Si multiplicasemos el aporte europeo por el porcentaje de poblacion de cada bloque, nos saldria exactamente el mismo porcentaje
que en los estudios mas representativos donde se han analizado mas muestras a nivel general...

Local Ancestry Inference

The proportion of the BRS sample, which included individuals born in the different towns and two public datasets, had an average local ancestry proportion for its EUR component of 74.6% (SD = 1.4%). The proportion of the sample that comprised the AFR component was 16.0% (SD = 1.1%), and the NAT component was 9.4% (SD = 1.1%) (Figure 2A and Supplementary Figure 3). We observed differences in EUR and AFR ancestry proportions among towns, with the Belo Horizonte population containing the lowest EUR component (mean = 66.8%; SD = 6.0%), and the highest AFR component (mean = 26.9%; SD = 5.6%). São Paulo, in contrast, had the greatest proportion of EUR ancestry (mean = 87.8%; SD = 5.7%) and the lowest AFR proportion (mean = 6.2%; SD = 4.1%). The NAT component of the sample remained constant among individuals from the different towns and the two public Brazilian databases, ranging from a mean of 4.6% (SD = 2.8%) in Barretos to 8.2% (SD = 1.3%) in the BIPMed sample (Figure 2A). Our assessment revealed a decreased EUR component on ch 8p23.1, and an elevated NAT in individuals born in Campinas, São Paulo, Barretos, and Belo Horizonte, as well as in those included in the ABraOM dataset (Figure 2B and Supplementary Figures 3–9).
