Some background on this thread: I recently found a very popular blog called My Brown Baby. I reflected on the current climate of political correctness in the US, and realized that if someone started a blog called My White Baby it would be considered exclusive and racist. However, I am a proud white woman who has every right to be thrilled to have a beautiful white baby with an excellent white man who is committed to supporting us. After reading this forum’s Mission Statement, I thought this would be a place where I could express the above sentiment in a supportive environment. I was not derogatory to anyone; it was a very simple expression of joy, gratitude, and pride which was placed under the Hearth & Home section for a reason. If you all can’t get behind it we’re in worse trouble than I thought.
