The real Mountain Dew? White Lightning? Moonshine? Yes, yes I do. You're right about drugs being a plague in the Appalachians, though. That's a cycle of hopelessness that a lot of people tried to escape early last century.. the problem is that now we have dying counties and kids who feel totally lost and alone. I can think of a couple of counties in the hills that are very nearly empty, where the average age is over 50. I'd hope that maybe with some education, these people might make their region thrive again.

Bounce to India and travel up and down the breadth of the country and when my visa runs out, hop the border to Nepal for 2 months, come back to India. Rinse and repeat. The problem is, it's hard to get income over there. I have enough saved up that I will be going out there for a year starting mid-June.
