As much as I know, from personal experience , british people usually have blue eyes and fair skin (sometimes even more fair than scandinavians. I have seen scandinavians with better tanning ability than I have, and I'm not as light as them). But it is true that a lot of british people have dark brown hair (almost black). Either way I think british are one of the best looking ethnicities in western europe (after norwegians and maybe dutch/western germans).

The fact is that the British and Irish are definitely not the darkest in Central/Northern Europe! The palest people cannot be the darkest. Yes, they have more dark brown hair (not black) than Scandinavians, but so does everyone else. Red hair on the other hand is more common in Britain than anywhere else except Ireland of course. Blue eyes are universal in Britain, it's not like in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Poland where the blondest regions are also the bluest-eyed regions which are usually located mainly in the northern part of these respective nations. While in Britain and Scandinavia, the blondest regions are not necessarily the most blue-eyed. Wales is more blue-eyed than East England but darker-haired, while in Sweden, Storumen in the north is darker-haired than Gothenberg in the south, but just as blue-eyed if not more. So blue eyes are much more evenly spread in Britain and Scandinavia than they are in most of continental Europe.

The majority of Poles are light-haired, that is true. However don't confuse light hair with blond hair. Light hair in this study includes light blonde to medium brown shades. This is not lighter than the Northern Germans (65%) and the Irish (64%).

Northern Germans are perhaps more "light-haired" in general than the Poles, but the Irish are clearly "darker" in this regard, from both nations.

Maybe Poles have more light hair , but Irish have surely paler skin and higher frequency of light eyes.
    So overall Irish are lighter.

    1) Germans as a whole are not lighter than Brits and Irish.
    2) Irish are not darker than Brits. This misconception comes from the work of that hack Beddoe who did his surveys in the 1800s. When I'm rich I will finance a mass survey about pigmentation all over Europe so y'all motherfuckers will see I'm right.

Rubbish. The Irish are clearly the palest people and they are not darker than Northern Germans or Poles. Yes by posting a picture of non-blond Irish can sell your false ideas.
    These Irish people are fair-haired.

Please do not be confused. Northern Germans and Irish people are not identical, but are similarly light-haired. The difference is that Northern Germans have more of the ash-blond shades, while the Irish have more of the red/reddish/auburn hair. When we combine red+blond+light/medium brown hair this accounts for 65% for Northern Germans and 64% for the Irish.

There is actually no definite scientific proof for designation such as "North-Atlantid" or "Subnordid", all are just speculations.
