How do you typically cut your hair?

What haircut instructions do you give your barber when you make your regular trip to the barbershop?

I tell my barber... "Shave the sides #1, and #2 on the top, then leave some spikey bangs"............What about you?

Shave it all the way down or a military high and tight.I am shaved right now because I don't like how the high and tight looks with the beard.

Maybe someday when I shave the beard I will restore the high and tight.

I started cutting my own hair when my stylist ruined my hair. I searched on google watched some videos and read some tutorials. After some practice and a little help from a friend enabled me to cut my own hair. Try to cut your own hair and make any style you need and save some money. Believe me this way you can be more creative than many of the stylists.

I tell them to give me an ivy league haircut and if they don't know what that means I tell them to give a me a crewcut that gradually gets longer towards the front leaving enough at the front to come. Or I just show them a picture of Anderson Cooper :



Although, I'm thinking about changing my hairstyle next month.

Growing up,I went to the barbers to get my hair cut every week or every other week. When I was 13 or so I stopped going to the barbers because I got tired of making the trip and I felt like I was wasting my money. Ever since then I've been cutting my own hair. At first I was using a pair of scissors. I didn't know what I was doing. I've messed up my hair plenty of times. I've learned how to cut my hair better from failed haircuts and experience. I went from using scissors to clippers. I used to cut my hair in different ways when I had a full head of hair.

Unfortunately my hair has receded a bit. For the past few years,I've been shaving my head without any tapers on them. Two days ago I felt like trying something different. I put a bunch of shaving cream on my head and I shaved my head with a razor. I don't see a huge difference in my hairstyle when I use razors. I just look a little balder lmao. My head definitely feels different though. I guess i'm going shave my head with razors from now on.

I couldn´t wear long hair under the sun we have here in Andalucia! And much less if I have to be under the sun.

Not so much for brazilian standards,temperatures stay arround 30C in summer,they don't go much over it like in other places in Brazil.Some days the max temperatures reach 35C,but it is not the rule,there are places here where 40C in the summer is the norm.
