I go to a barber shop every 2 - 2,5 monthes. Ask to cut shorter but with something remain. Dislike both bold type and long haired style for men.
This is couple of days after hair cut.

And the maximum long hair is as on avatar))

    It's a razor cut, like a bird. >.>

It kinda looks like this when I'm not lazy to do my hair:

And this is how I look when I wake up (literally took this picture right after waking up):

Longer hair, sometimes I braid it.

    Long thick hair = masculinity.

I have straight near my head and wavy near the tips thick long hair hair (color is similar to my avatar ).
I cut only hair tips when they are too damaged.

I cut my own hair, using the method described here:

I also highlight my hair in a gradation from the ends towards the roots, using a £2 bottle of peroxide, and a hairdryer, and it comes out like this:

I am happier with this than I have been with any haircut that I have paid for, as, always, I have either had a result I dislike, or a large bill.

I used to pay money for expensive blond hair when I was in my early twenties, and although it looked marvellous, it required a lot of maintenance.

My current style is easy, and it only needs a trim every few months.

Nothing special ..she just cleans the damaged ends and refreshes a bit the already existing layers.

Something relatively close to this. Regular "boys" cut as my village barber calls it.
